I always loved video games, although I played mostly the NES and Genesis era, then fell into PC gaming for a long while until picking up with this generation a few years ago. Now I have pretty much every system (some in several iterations), and play them all fairly regularly. My favorite genres are definitely graphic adventures and RPGs – anything where you are given the opportunity to explore and discover gets an “A” in my book – although I play mostly everything except shooters, usually. Oh, and in case you’re wondering, yes, I have four chihuahuas. If you’re feeling bored, you can follow me on Twitter: @rrquinta.

I’ve been a gaming ever since I was a little kid but never really got that into it until High School which was the N64 days. Ever since then I’ve really gotten into playing all genres from Sports, Shooters, RPGs, you name it I’ve probably played it. I spend most of my time now playing Sports, Shooters, and RPGs. I love writing and talking about games and the industry. I own all consoles including a DS and a gaming PC, though I normally only play RTS titles on my PC. Follow me on Twitter: @TheHerp80.

My first experience with gaming probably happened when I was about four or five years old and mainly revolved around the Super Nintendo and the gray brick that was the Gameboy. I dabbled in the Sega Genesis from time to time, but was strictly a Nintenhead (don’t know if that’s a thing…) for a while. Soon, however, I delved into PC gaming, which occurred around the time that I was introduced to the educational system. The PC games I played consisted of The Oregon Trail and Math Blaster, which taught me that both dysentery and multiplication could be fun! Since then, I have been lucky to experience many lovely consoles (i.e., the purple lunchbox, the red-ringed 360, and the overheating PS3) and games. I enjoy playing all types of games and am willing to try my hand at anything. My favorite games are Super Mario World, Bioshock, Pokemon Blue, and Megaman X. On a final note, even though I sound a bit cynical, I truly feel like we live in an exciting era that is highlighted by brilliant developers and a rapid evolution of games and hardware, and it is awesome that I’m able to put in my two cents about this exciting time. Oh, and be sure to hit me up on twitter @TweetRyanAbe and on PSN: ace6991.

Playing video games for around 24 years, I’ve had great experience playing games, ranging from RPGsto racing. In fact, I’ve played just about every genre except the sports simulation. Some of my greatest memories are from the NES era, playing games like Zelda, Metroid, and Crystalis. And some of my favorite franchises are Mega Man, Borderlands, and Halo. The questions is, where do my ambitions lie? Well, I want to write about video games and make a career out of it.

I’m a student at North Carolina State University majoring in history while also minoring in journalism. Learning about the industry and the development of new IPs has always appealed to me. When I was younger, I spent most of my time playing video games on the PC. Fast forward a few years and now I play pretty much exclusively on Sony branded systems but appreciate what the PC and Xbox 360 offer. My favorite game of all time is the original Call of Duty on the PC and is followed in a distant second by Counter-Strike: Source. A few of my favorite PS3 titles are Uncharted, Gran Turismo 5 and Killzone 2. I know I am not perfect and if you have any constructive comments about my articles, please leave comments or send me a tweet. I’ve been a gamer since a very young age, and owned most of the consoles at one time. Currently, I spend my gaming time on the PS3, DS Lite, and Wii. Looking at my gaming collection, you will find I’m a sucker for RPGs, racing games, and platformers. I will proudly admit my love for any of the wacky JRPGs. I am also very proud of the fact that my two sons are following in my footsteps with their love of video games. Follow me on Twitter: @TheLiztress.

I can’t remember a year in my life that I wasn’t gaming. Since the age of 2, I’ve had nearly every major console and continue to expand my collection today. I enjoy gaming on all 3 of the major home consoles, but primarily I’m an Xbox 360 gamer. While I’ve logged the most hours of my life on Halo 2, my favorite game of all time is The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. Aside from gaming, I love to cook, play basketball, and just goof off with friends. Check out my blog: jamesmanguyperson.blogspot.com and be sure to follow me on twitter: @jamesmanguyprsn

Ever since my great grandmother bought my first gaming system, the Nintendo 64, My family and I have been playing video games. While my family usually stuck to the party games and the first-person shooters, I ventured out and fell in love with RPGs and adventure games. I have a soft spot for The Legend of Zelda and Final Fantasy and even inherited my mother’s love for Castlevania. My favorite video games are probably Tales of the Abyss, Persona 4, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, Final Fantasy XII, Assassin’s Creed 2, and Portal 2. Other than games, I love listening to all kinds music from k-pop to hip-hop, making music videos, and, of course, writing. Check out my Twitter (@aaronpsp5) to play games, talk games, or anything you like. You can even friend me on PSN (AARONBUFFY) or Xbox Live (AARONPSP). I would love to game with you guys!

When I was a kid, I was hopelessly addicted to a PC game starring a Rambo-esque jackrabbit named Jazz. He would run through his vibrant, pixelated world shooting turtles with a comically oversized gun – it practically dared you to wonder where a rabbit got a firearm – all to rescue his one true rabbit love. Now that I type that, it’s hard not admit that Jazz Jackrabbit had a pretty ridiculous story. But it was fun, and it got me into gaming, and now, in my 20s, that love for the medium hasn’t dulled in the slightest. I’ve a very special place in my heart for RPGs, platformers, and fighting games, with Chrono Trigger, Spyro the Dragon, and Super Smash Bros. Brawl being some of my favorite titles ever. Now, I play pretty much everything I get the chance to on my Xbox 360, 3DS, PSP, and PC. I’ve been playing games for as long as I can remember. The first game I’ve ever played was Dr. Mario on the Gameboy, and then Bonk’s Adventure on the Turbografx. I didn’t have my own gaming system when I was young, so every time I visit my cousins’ houses, I eventually make my way to a video game. Everything changed when I got a SNES! From then on, my love for games never stopped. Now with the video game industry growing immensely in the past few decades, it’s become an even bigger part of my life. I enjoy all types of games, but I do enjoy a good MMO and FPS. You can catch me gaming on my PS3, 2DS, or PC nowadays. If you want to game with me, hit me up on twitter (@xPmnms) or Steam (xPmnms). I’ll be glad to game with you!

My love for video games began around the age of 7 when I constantly watched my older brother cruise through Doom, StarCraft, and Quake. When I was finally tall enough to sit at the computer and reach the keyboard, it was hard to pry me away from the PC. Titles such as Jazz Jackrabbit, Age of Empires, and C&C really got me going until my teenage years introduced me to MMORPGs and other platforms. Although I’ve played on a ton of systems, I’m currently hooked to my laptop and Xbox 360. Favorite genres include RPGs and strategy games but I also have a soft spot for FPS such as the Halo and L4D series. All in all, I’m pretty adventurous so I’d give any game a go! When i’m not immersed in the gaming world, I enjoy my dose of anime, online text-based role play, and watching movies. You’ll often find me on tumblr at ceramander making gaming edits and reblogging all things awesome.
