Will the game be long enough though to justify cross-play? A 12 hour game with cross-play seems pretty useless.

I get the feeling ESO is going to be everything Everquest 2 wanted to be, and then a lot, lot more.

Speaking from the point of view of a player who played eq1, then eq2, then WoW, this game looks like it might go back to a different time.

I say that because, I get the impression that high end players are going to be EXTREMELY badass in this game, seeing as how the top PVPer is the Emperor of Cyridiil, and only players who can complete heroic dungeons on demand can experience all of the story.

Much like how the vast majority of EQ 1 and 2s content was locked away for only the most high end players.
