Hands On: Sonic Generations Demo
The other day, Sega announced an exclusive, timed release of the Sonic Generations demo. The demo will only be around for 20 days, so I made sure to obtain it as soon as possible. With similar ideas and concepts being applied to Generations as say, Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Part 1, it was hard to say if this title would hit or miss.

Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D Save Data Can’t Be Deleted
A user on the NeoGaf forums has posted an image of what looks to be the manual for RE: The Mercenaries 3D and apparently users will not have the ability to delete saved data on the cartridge. In what seems like an attempt to prevent used game sales, could we be seeing this in future 3DS games?

Nintendo Update: June 16, 2011
Well, it looks like, thankfully, instead of updating twice a week, Nintendo is moving its weekly addition of new downloadable content to Thursdays. From now on, WiiWare, Virtual Console, DSiWare, and the 3DS eShop will all update on Thursdays.
This week we have one new virtual console title for all you Mega Man fans, plus plenty for DSiWare, one WiiWare game, one WiiWare demo, and the original Game Boy version of Donkey Kong in the eShop. See the full details after the break.

Wii U will not have DVD or Blu-ray playback
More and more disappointing information is coming out about the Wii U and there continue to be some questionable decisions from Nintendo. First we find out that the Wii U can only support one Wii U controller now we find out that the Wii U will not be able to support DVD or Blu-ray playback.
