Amazon revealed it's top selling video games in December 2011.  Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 and in a surprise, Deus Ex: Human Revolution took the top for each category.  The former took best selling physical title and the latter took tops in digital sales.

Minecraft and Firefall Shutting Down Jan. 18 in SOPA Protest

Over the past week a few game companies publicly denounced Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), but now two companies are shutting down their services on Janurary 18 in protest of SOPA. Mojang (creators of Minecraft) and Red 5 Studios (creators of Firefall) will both be shutting down their games protesting SOPA. Going even further, Red 5 Studios will not be attending this year's E3 unless the ESA reverses its stand on SOPA.
