ESA Supports PIPA/SOPA at Gamers’ Expense
It shouldn't be that much of a surprise to gamers that the ESA backs SOPA and has spent $190,000 lobbying PIPA. Seven months ago they stood with gamers against the California Video Game Law while at the same time paying lobbyist to gain support for PIPA.
