Sony Sued Over PSN Breach
In what was honestly, only a matter of time, a class-action lawsuit has been filed against Sony in a California court. The suit, filed by the Rothken Law Firm on behalf of Kristopher Johns, asserts that Sony "failed to take reasonable care to protect, encrypt, and secure the private and sensitive data."

Sony and GeoHot Reach Agreement
Sony has now reached a settlement with George Hotz, also known as GeoHot. Hotz came under fire from Sony after releasing the PlayStation 3's encryption key and other tools which allowed users to install home-brewed applications, custom firmware and play pirated video games.
