Capcom announced today that both DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition and Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition will be making their way to both the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles next year. DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will be released digitally and at retail on March 17 at a MSRP of $39.99. Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition will be released later during the Summer.

DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition will include not just the original action game but all the previously released DLC and new modes and gameplay features to make this the ultimate experience for Devil May Cry fans. One new feature is the chance to play as Dante’s twin brother, Vergil, in Vergil’s Bloody Palace Mode. There is also the added Gods Must Die, Must Style Mode, and Hardcore Modes. New costumes inspired by the classic DMC character designs for both Dante and Vergil will be available.

Improvements and balances based on fan feedback have been made to improve the experience. There are also modifiers added, such as the Turbo Mode which allows players to increase the speed of combat to make it much more intense. Additional leaderboards, trophies/achievements, as well as social features, will be added to take advantage of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One’s functionality. The high quality production will allow the game to run at a glorious 1080p and smooth 60 fps across both gens.

Stay tuned as we continue to bring more news for DmC Devil May Cry: Definitive Edition and Devil May Cry 4 Special Edition as they are announced.
