Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night Has Been Announced; Original On Sale To Celebrate Announcement
Last year, we reviewed Auroch Digital’s adaptation of Chainsaw Warrior. If you enjoyed the original, then the news from Auroch Digital will certainly be well received. A sequel, titled Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night, will be released this Winter on Steam and mobile devices.
The reception for the 2013 adaptation of Chainsaw Warrior was quite positive from fans of the board game version as well as new players who enjoyed the thrill of a challenging difficulty and punishing campaign. The sequel promises to keep the campaign just as punishing while also adding new challenges designed to test players. Lords of the Night will feature an upgraded combat system, upgrades, powers, equipment, and unique mini bosses. And that’s just a small sample of what to expect.
Steve Martin, designer of Chainsaw Warrior: Lords of the Night, comments:
“Chainsaw Warrior will always be, at its heart, a board game. It’s important to us that people who played the original can jump right in and feel at home, but at the same time we want to use this opportunity to build on the challenge and add in some tricks that the digital format opens up for us.”
To celebrate this big announcement, the original Chainsaw Warrior will be on sale for 50% off for a full day. This sale will only be on November 18 so if you haven’t picked up the first, this would be a great time to do so. Lords of the Night is set for a Winter release on Steam and mobile devices. It will be priced at $4.99/€3.99/£2.99.
