Minecraft has been awhile for quite some time now for the PC. The PS3 Edition was released digitally late last year and has already seen at least 1.5 million ¬†downloads. Given the title, this isn’t much of a surprise. Minecraft helps us tap into our creative side as people work alone (and sometimes together) to build amazing buildings, towns, and whatever else their mind comes up with.

Yesterday, we learn that a physical copy of the popular title will be making its way to store shelves on May 16 for North America. This is great news for those who have been putting off buying the game due to being digital-only at the time. Minecraft: PS3 Edition will come with all the features that have since been implemented with the latest update. Yes, this means you can farm potatoes and mine for those rare Emeralds. Though there is still no sign of the frightful Wither that is still exclusive to the PC version.

So, how many of you readers have purchased Minecraft: PS3 Edition already? Feel free to share your thoughts below.
