Vita Remote Play And Gameplay Sharing To Be Added In Day One PS4 Patch
Despite them being two of the biggest features to be advertised for Sony’s PlayStation 4, Vita Remote Play and Gameplay Sharing will require a 300MB Day One Patch download, according to a post on Eurogamer. The download is estimated to take around 5 to 15 minutes, with a broadband speed of 5 to 10 Mpbs.
Vita Remote Play will allow most games to be streamed onto the Vita screen, while Gameplay Sharing allows users to press the Share Button to upload footage of the game they are playing.
However, features such as allowing players to suspend their game as if it were on a Vita, will not be available at launch. Other features, such as playing Blu-Ray or DVD content, require connecting to the internet to activate.
