Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut Release Announced
Eidos-Montreal, a Square Enix studio, has announced the ship date of Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut. This game will be released for the Nintendo’s Wii U, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Windows PC with a Mac version planned for some time in the near future.
The Square Enix store offers an exclusive novella, Deus Ex: Fallen Angel, will be free with the purchase of any console version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut. Written by James Swallow, writer of the novel Deus Ex: Icarus Effect, has penned this novella is an essential chapter in the Deus Ex story for any Deus Ex fan.
Also included and integrated seamlessly into the Director’s Cut are the previously Gamestop exclusive Tong’s Rescue mission and the entire Missing Link chapter. In addition, many of the gameplay elements have been “augmented” including overhauled boss fights, refined game balance and combat, improved AI, over 8 hours of developer commentary, and striking visual improvements.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut will also include a host of second screen features that integrate the Wii U GamePad, Microsoft’s SmartGlass, and the PlayStation Vita system that make up the touchscreen interface Adam Jensen’s primary neural hub enhancement.
Starting at $29.99, Deus Ex: Human Revolution – Director’s Cut ships October 22. With the host of DLC and second screen features, the Director’s Cut is well worth the price.
