Vita Redesign Announced: 3 Limited Edition Bundles for Japan Too

Sony was in town today with a press event in Tokyo, and the company had a Vita redesign with them.

The new Vita is thinner and smaller by 20% compared to the old model, packs a extra hour battery life, and also now comes with 1GB internal storage. The system’s OLED display has now also been replaced with a standard LCD display to make the system cheaper, you can also now pick one of 6 colors, including pink for the ladies. Vita’s memory cards have also been given a price drop along with a new 64GB card retailing for $105.

Along with this, 3 additional limited edition vita’s were announced: a God Eater 2 system, a Gundam Breaker system, and a Final Fantasy X system. All of these will be on sale in Japan before the end of the year. There is currently no news on if any of these systems will land on our side of the world.
