Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut, the enhanced PS3 version of Hidetaka “SWERY” Suehiro’s Xbox 360 game, has appeared on the Steam Greenlight service via Rising Star Games.

“It’s true that Rising Star Games has published a few PC games in the past,” says the publisher in their first post on the Greenlight page. “But, since this is our first release on Steam, we wanted to make it a big one and bring you something special!”

Normally, I wouldn’t post about something like this, as it isn’t technically a confirmation, but Deadly Premonition is, as Rising Star Games says, a gaming phenomenon, so I have no doubts that this game will succeed in getting greenlit.

Deadly Premonition was originally developed by Access Games for the Xbox 360  PS3 in Japan in 2010, but was only released on 360 worldwide; Toybox Inc helped develop the once PS3-Exclusive Director’s Cut for the rest of the world in 2013.
