European PlayStation Plus Update: July 2013

European PlayStation Plus Update: July 2013

It’s the first week of the month, and you in Europe know what that means, it time for the PlayStation Plus update, which goes live this Wednesday. As always, Sony have some nice goodies ready for us to download, so let see what Sony has to offer this month.

PlayStation 3

As always, Sony has three nice titles to offer for their flagship home system for PlayStation Plus subscribers. The first offering this month is EA’s answer to Call of Duty: Battlefield 3. The first-person shooter which runs on the DICE 2 engine, allows players to fight in wars, blow up tanks or even knock down buildings! Both the single player and multiplayer will be available for members, so be sure not to miss out on this offer while it here, it Battlefield for free, what else could FPS fans want?

Time for some more shooter love in this month’s second offering, with Payday: The Heist. Rob banks, kidnap people, and even take part in midnight raids in this fun third-person shooter. Payday: The Heist will surly give you some nice fun and a good addition to your collection. If that’s not enough, the Wolfpack DLC will be getting a nice discount for PS+ members too, since more savings are always nice.

The final offering this month is Saints Row: The Third, the third installment in the crazy sandbox series that makes Grand Theft Auto games seem less funny. Anything goes in this fictional world of Streetport: rampage, drive, and cause chaos of many kinds, all for that forever sweet price of nothing. I got to say this is the game I am most looking forwards to this month. I loved the first game and I can finally try another entry in the series. US gamers, fear not, this game is also on the US PlayStation Plus update.

PlayStation Vita

With games like Rayman Origins for platformer fans and Zero Escape: Virture Last Reward to keep Japanese Visual Novel fans happy in recent months, it’s been going great for Vita in PlayStation Plus updates. This month is no expectation with Ninja Gaiden Sigma Plus joining the Vita lineup. Time to take the role of a ninja and start killing the people after you. Unit 13 will also be added for Vita gamers, a shooter that launched with the system over in Europe.

Check below for a full list of what arriving and leaving the service in July, as always it a very nice update for both systems, also finally, Vita games go live at the same time as the PlayStation 3 games.
