Armikrog Could Come to Wii U

Armikrog, the unique adventure game from Pencil Test Studios, could very well be coming to the Wii U. The game is unique in the fact that it has been entirely created through claymation (clay-animation). Pencil Test Studios is made up of the guys who made Earthworm Jim. The project is currently being funded on Kickstarter, which you should definitely check out. Originally planned for release for PC, Mac, and Linux, the game may very well be finding its way to the Nintendo Wii U as well.

Through a recent update on their Kickstarter page, the team at Pencil Test revealed that Nintendo approached them about bringing Armikrog to Wii U and has even already instated the studio as an official licensed Wii U developer. The game would be a digital-only release through the eShop. The Wii U version is a stretch goal for the game on Kickstarter, at $950,000. The initial goal needed to make the game happen regardless is $900,000 and as of the publishing of this article, the funding sits at nearly $760,000 with only 46 hours left, so if you are interested in seeing this game come to fruition, then head over to their Kickstarter right now!
