Final Fantasy IV Arrives on Android

Some good and bad news for you Final Fantasy fans today, Square Enix’s classic title Final Fantasy IV arrived on Android today; sadly, however, the game will not come cheap.

The re-release of the DS remake has been on the ITunes store since the end of last year, but after six months Android fans can finally download the game to their own devices. The game will set you back £10.99 (~$16.99), and while Final Fantasy IV is a fantastic RPG, this price tag I find a bit too much when the DS version can be picked up for less in most retailers now. Nevertheless, it’s great to see the mobile version finally become available to Android owners.

See a screenshot of the game in the Google Play store below. For more on Final Fantasy, and on that next-gen title Square Enix plan on announcing during E3 next week, keep your eyes on Vivid Gamer.
