Nordic Games Releases Free Prequel, The Raven Prologue

Nordic Games Releases Free Prequel, The Raven Prologue

Nordic Games, a Vienna/Austria-based development studio, has released The Raven Prologue, a free interactive prequel to their upcoming episodic title, The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief, to Google Play and the iTunes App Store.

The graphic novel takes players on an exciting, mysterious journey through the streets of Paris as Raven, an infamous thief, and Inspector Legrand, a skilled investigator, match wits. Visually inspired by the striking minimalist style of 1960′s graphic designer Saul Bass, The Raven Prologue hopes to envelope players in the mythology of the universe Nordic Games has created. Further detailing the idea behind the graphic novel prologue, Peter Hercher, Product Marketing Manager at Nordic Games, states:

An Interactive Graphic Novel is the ideal way to introduce players to the main game in a way that is leisurely yet exciting so players can get a taste of what is to come from The Raven – Legacy of a Master Thief…It’s a free gift from us at Nordic Games, that not only keeps players in suspense of what is to come in The Raven but also provides a deeper understanding of who the Raven is, what motivates him and will help players piece together parts of the story that they’ll hear about when playing through the main game out this summer.

Fortunately, fans of the title won’t have to wait long for the first episode of The Raven – Legacy of the Master Thief to be released. The first of the three parts will be available to download on July 23rd for the PC, the Xbox Live Marketplace, and the Playstation Network, with the second and third seeing release on August 27th and September 24th. For those who fall in love with the mystery, a season pass is available at a 20% discount during the preorder phase, meaning fans can pick up all three episodes for $19.99 before release. The Raven -Legacy of the Master Thief, and its Prologue, seek to inject the summer with an intriguing air of mystery.
