Sims 4 Heading To PC And Mac In 2014

The Sims 3 was instantly a success when it was first released back in 2009. Selling over 10 million copies since 2009, The Sims 3 proved to be one of PC’s best selling game of all time. Fans of the series might have been wondering if EA and Maxis had plans to announce the next entry or if The Sims 3 would continue to receive expansions.

Maxis and EA made the announcement today that The Sims 4 will be coming to PCs and Macs in 2014. Not many details are known at this time. However, EA assures gamers that The Sims 4 will be a single-player offline experience. One has to wonder if the choice for this was a result of the blunder with SimCity requiring an always-on connection.
