With how popular and well-received their Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why’d You Steal Our Garbage?!!, D3Publisher is teaming up with Cartoon Network again to bring Regular Show, another one of their hit shows, to gamers. Currently, we don’t have much information to go on about what sort of game Regular Show will be or even what consoles to expect it on. Pete Yoder, Vice President of Consumer Products, North America for CNE, commented:

“As a brand, Regular Show is tailor-made for an interactive release, with main characters who spend their time slacking off, playing video games or involved in hijinks that are certainly worthy of being in a game. With a show creator who loves games working closely with a partner that has proven success creating high-quality licensed titles, we’re excited to release our first Regular Show game later this year.”

For those who haven’t seen the show, Regular Show follows the lives of Mordecai (a tall blue jay) and his pal Rigby (a short and hyper raccoon) as they work as park groundskeepers and hang out with their friends. In their first ever video game, Mordecai and Rigby will be heading to an all-new park. One can only imagine what sort of hi-jinks await the two.

Stay tuned as we keep you up to date with any information we get our hands on. Feel free to comment below with your favorite Regular Show characters, moments, and what you’d like to see in this game.
