Curt Schilling Likely To Sell Famed Bloody Sock To Pay Back Loans

Curt Schilling Likely To Sell Famed Bloody Sock To Pay Back Loans

Kingdoms of  Amalur: Reckoning might not have been a smash hit, but it received some positive reviews. Despite the good reviews, 38 Studio’s Kingdoms of Amalur didn’t sell too well and caused the company to file for bankruptcy. Curt Schilling of baseball fame and owner of the Providence-based game company owes over a hundred million dollars in loans.

Because the RPG did not sell enough to pay back these loans, Schilling’s company had to lay off all of its employees. It would seem that times are looking even more bleak as Schilling has listed a few of his personal belongings in hopes to raise enough funds to cover the loans. Listed are the famed bloody sock he worn during the 2004 World Series, a baseball hat said to have been worn by Yankees legend Lou Gehrig, and Schilling’s collection of World War II memorabilia.
