Persona 4 Arena Available Now In North America

Persona 4 Arena Available Now In North America

If you have been following the news regarding ATLUS’ Persona 4 Arena, you know that it is already considered one of the best-selling fighting titles in Japan. You also know that the spin-off of both Persona 3 and  Persona 4 hit North American stores today. It is also possible that you’ve paused from playing it long enough to check out Vivid Gamer and see what goodies ATLUS sent us to show off to you.

Not only has ATLUS released Persona 4 Arena but there is a nice amount of DLC available, some of which can be obtained through challenging in-game achievements. The DLC contents range from additional Navigators who provide in-game commentary to sets of glasses (similar to the ones worn by the Persona 4 cast) for all characters. If you are one of those who prefers to skip out on the DLC, then you might be glad to know that the DLC will not play a part in your experience other than to give you more ways to customize your characters. Another thing worth noting is the publisher’s confirmation that a patch is being quickly developed in order to correct the issues of lag for Xbox 360 owners.

Below are the rest of the character galleries, plus some sweet-looking screens of the story mode, for you to feast your eyes on. If you haven’t picked up Persona 4 Arena for the PS3 or Xbox 360, I’m fairly confident that these will have you rushing to the store to get your copy.

 Kanji Tatsumi

A young man once feared as a violent punk.
Despite his looks, he is goodhearted and a
skilled knitter. He prefers fighting up
close with powerful throws, and his Persona
is the thunderous powerhouse Take-Mikazuchi.

Akihiko Sanada

A former member of SEES who is close to
Mitsuru. Though still in college, his thirst
for power led him around the world to train.
Rush down the opponent with his quick fists
and finish them with his Persona, Caesar!

Aigis

A combat android built by the Kirijo Group
to destroy Shadows. Though she is a machine,
her heart allows her to summon her Persona,
Athena. Use her heavy weaponry and Orgia
Mode to gain the upper hand!

Teddie

A being that came from inside the TV. He is
the girl-chasing clown of the group. He used
to be empty inside, but now…? With his
claws and Persona, Kintoki-Douji, he’ll
upstage everyone with his crazy antics.
