We’re halfway through the Arcade Next promotion and this week we’re given a spin-off to one of Microsoft’s most famous franchises in Fable Heroes. There’s also a nice selection of game add-ons this week, games on demand, and a solid discount on some DLC for one of the best first-person shooters of 2011.

Deal of the Week

  • Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand – 1200 pts 600 pts – This massive themed expansion features four of the most loved Battlefield maps ever, boldly reimagined with the power of the Frostbite 2 engine. You’ll also get new weapons, vehicles, dog tags, and persistence in the form of all-new “assignments” to carry out on the battlefield. The maps included are Strike at Karkand, Gulf of Oman, Sharqi Peninsula, and Wake Island.

  • PES 2012 – $29.99 – PES 2012 makes it’s bid to be the best football game of all time with Active AI always looking to support attacks and provide options for the most satisfying gameplay experience. Off the Ball Control makes you the target man in dead ball situations and Teammate Control gives you control over additional players. These and loads more improvements make for the most complete PES so far.
  • Kinect Adventures – $19.99 – If you pay $20 for this mediocre minigame collection instead of the hundreds of more worthy games on the marketplace then you have no hope. Not only was this game a glorified tech demo but it was actually packaged in with the Kinect peripheral when it first released. DO NOT BUY THIS FOR THIS PRICE!
  • Cabela’s Survival Shadows of Katmai – $29.99 – Disaster strikes Logan James as his plane crashes into the shadow of Katmai Mountain. His primal instinct to survive will be put to the ultimate test against the toughest of all opponents…nature. Hunt to avoid starvation, but beware, you are not the only hungry predator. Face the harsh Alaskan wilderness as you scale insurmountable cliffs and traverse treacherous mountain paths all in an effort to complete a mysterious mission. The question is…can you survive?
  • Puss in Boots The Video Game – $39.99 – Step into the boots of Puss as your sword fighting moves and sly skills are put to the test.   • DiRT Showdown – Demo – Experience full-impact confrontational racing in the 8 Ball event in San Francisco.   • SSX – Mt. Eddie & Classic Characters – 640 pts – Welcome to Mt. Eddie where there’s plenty of big air and the trick points run wild. Mt. Eddie features nine new Race and Trick drops and is filled with huge kickers, ridiculous grinds, a halfpipe, and fireworks. This DLC pack also comes with seven classic SSX characters from SSX 3 and Tricky: Elise, Mac, Zoe, Kaori, Psymon, Moby, and Eddie, each with alternate outfits and a unique snowboard.
