Persona 4: Arena Looks To Have DLC

Persona 4: Arena Looks To Have DLC

Famitsu shared a few new screenshots of Atlus’ upcoming title Persona 4: Arena. One of the screens, taken the console story mode, shows the menu screen. It lists all options that should be familiar to those who have played any of Arc System Works’ BlazBlue titles.

But if you look closely, you will notice a “Contents Market” option. One could assume that this option will allow for the purchases of DLC. If Atlus follows the way Arc System Works handled DLC for the BlazBlue series, then we could expect things such as extra character colors, new characters, and system voice packs. Honestly, I would love to see characters from the other titles in the Shin Megami Tensei series. Demi-fiend, anyone?

The other screenshots show Yu returning to Inaba and being surprised to see his friends acting strangely when the Midnight Channel is turned on. If this news excites you as much as it has me, then I’m sure you’re counting down the days until its release. What we do know is that Persona 4: Arena is coming to the PS3 and Xbox 360 on August 2 for Japanese gamers. Atlus has mentioned that North American fans can look forward to a release sometime this summer.
