Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land Summoned To PC Via Intel AppUp

Last month, we reviewed the iOS title Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land. If you had read it and wished to see the title makes its way to the PC, we have some good news for you. Red Wasp Design announced today that, in partnership with Intel AppUp, their iOS RPG that will be available on the PC and that you only have to wait until May 5 for its release.

The game’s launch will be on May 5 at the RPC Germany international RPG event. The developers will also be at the event to demo the PC version for fellow fans and gamers as well as announce the price for the title. You can install Intel’s AppUp for free and browse the many apps already available on it.

What information we do know for the PC version of Call of Cthulhu: The Wasted Land is that it will feature language support for French, German, Italian, and Spanish gamers. It also will run in widescreen and is optimized for laptops, Ultrabooks, and desktops. Game designer, Tomas Rawlings, had this comment:

“We’ve had lots of requests from fellow gamers and fans of Lovecraftian horror to bring the game to PC, and thanks to Intel’s support that will now happen. It’s also great to be able to get the game translated into more languages, as Lovecraft’s work has a universal appeal.”
