Reverb Publishing Releasing Indie FPS Primal Carnage

Reverb Publishing has announced that they’re partnering with Lukewarm Media to release their indie title, Primal Carnage. The game has already received a ton of buzz with it’s fresh take on dinosaur versus human combat and will be coming to gamers through digital download platforms later on this year. Players play as the hunter and hunted choosing between defending themselves against a slew of deadly prehistoric creatures, or decimating humans using vicious carnivores of all sizes and variety.

Dinosaurs have been unleashed on an old military-controlled island due to an experiment gone awry. A team of mercenaries have been dispatched to contain the threat in this multiplayer First Person Shooter. Players must work together to complete objectives in large open environments featuring five playable human classes, five playable dinosaur classes, five multiplayer levels, achievements, and a variety of multiplayer modes.

Players will get the chance to test out this first-person shooter at this year’s PAX East (April 6 – 8) at Lukewarm Media’s booth, 1167. Though the game is only nearing its beta stage of development, Reverb and Lukewarm are, in their own words, “stoked on this game.” Executive producer Ted Lange said, “We want nothing more than to get it out the door and start playing with our friends and fans of the game as soon as possible. We’re thrilled to be a part of this game and proud to add it to our roster of increasingly terrific digital offerings.”
