MonkeyPaw Games Turns to Kickstarter For Class of Heroes 2 Localization

Kickstarter has become a popular platform for companies to turn to fans of a series to help fund their projects. MonkeyPaw Games, whom has licensed the Class of Heroes series from Acquire, has taken to the site in order to grow the digital localization of Class of Heroes 2 for Europe and North America to include a physical one.

Through the additional funding gained via Kickstarter, MonkeyPaw Games and Gajinworks hope to provide a Limited Edition Deluxe Pack as well as “expand the scope of localization for both the digital and physical releases.” Including in this is things such as “extra saves and better controls, smoothing out the user interface experience, and adding perks.”

MonkeyPaw Games is aiming high with a $500,000 goal on Kickstarter. As of this article, the project has 379 backers that have pledged $35,204. With 28 days to go, I have to wonder if enough people can rally together to make this happen. One other thing to note is how there are two other reward tiers beyond the $10,000 one that you can only view on either gajinworks.com or monkeypawgames.com.
