Bioshock Movie Loses Another Director
It seems as though Universal might be a little more hesitant to make a Bioshock movie than was originally thought. Reports surfaced recently stating that the movie studio is not looking to sink a large sum into the production of the film. This hesitation has lead to the movie’s second director, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, to walk away from the project.
On the subject Fresnadillo said:
To be honest, by now, I’m completely out of that, and developing other stuff. Right now it’s (Bioshock) on hold. The studio and the videogame company, they have to reach some kind of agreement about the budget and the rating.
The Bioshock film adaptation was originally announced May of 2008.

I think – if it were done correctly – a Bioshock movie could be really, really awesome.
