UPDATE: Idea Factory and Sting Form New Company Called Super Sting

Japanese companies Idea Factory and Yggdra Union developer Sting are forming a new company called Super Sting. For those who fear that Idea Factory is taking over Sting, worry not. Both companies have an equal stake in this company.

Though it was only yesterday when the news came out about the company, the people at Super Sting have been hard at work. Not all the details are known at this time but Famitsu has commented that it is a fantasy simulation RPG. We do know that the title is set for a release sometime this June though the title and platform are still a mystery.

Sting has a long-running partnership with Index Corporation, the parent company of Atlus. One Sting title being published by Atlus is the upcoming Gungnir, a PSP title slated also for a release in June.

UPDATE: On March 29, Super Sting will be unveiling the new mystery title that they have been working on. Stay tuned as we keep you up to date.
