PlayStation Store Update: March 13, 2012

This week’s PlayStation Store Update is notable for the release of Journey, the highly-anticipated third game from Sony first-party developer thatgamecompany. As a studio known for developing surreal experiences that transcend emotional and technical limitations, thatgamecompany’s latest left me stunned and, in only 30 minutes, had earned a place among my favorite games of all time.

Elsewhere, this week’s update isn’t quite so exciting. Plus members get discounts on Bioshock 2, Modern Warfare 2, and Phineas & Ferb. Discounts on DLC for titles like MotorStorm RC and Modern Warfare 2 are also in effect. Store users at large can now download Reality Fighters and Ridge Racer for Vita, with a handful of new Vita demos also available. All things considered, it’s a good week if you happen to be in the market for the right things.
