Enhanced Version of Deadly Premonition May Come to the West

Speaking at GDC 2012, Harvest Moon series creator Yasuhiro Wada described the current situation of Deadly Premonition, a survival horror title for PS3 and Xbox 360 that never saw a PS3 release outside Japan. Since the game’s launch in 2010, the open-world adventure has garnered a cult following, which is causing Wada and his publishing team Marvelous Entertainment to rethink the title’s role in the global gaming market. According to Wada, his team is currently working on a PS3 release for the West that may be ready to show at E3. Furthermore, Wada’s new company Toybox is working on another new game that may have close ties to Deadly Premonition. This project could show up at E3 as well.
