Infinity Blade II Wins Big At The International Mobile Game Awards

Infinity Blade II, developed by Chair Entertainment, took home two major awards (“Grand Prix” and “Excellence in Gaming”) at the 8th annual The International Mobile Game Awards held at Barcelona’s Mobile World Congress. The IMGA judges looked at over 600 submissions from students, indie developers, and major publishers from around the globe, making Chair’s accomplishment that much greater.

The award winners for the other categories each received $132,000 worth of publicity from IMGA sponsor ProSieben Sat1 Games, while the “Grand Prix” winner received $528,000.

The full list of winners this year includes the following:

  • Grand Prize - Infinity Blade II by Chair Entertainment, USA
  • Judges Honorable Mention - Contre Jour by Mokus Games, Ukraine
  • People’s Choice - Flick Tennis by Rolocule Games, India
  • Best Casual Game - Sprinkle by Mediocre AB, Sweden
  • Best Real World Game - Meatspace Invasion by C4MProd, France
  • Best Sports Game - Touchgrind BMX by Illusion Labs AB, Sweden
  • Best Mobile Social Game - Charadium II by On5, Lithuania
  • Excellence In Gameplay - Infinity Blade II by ChAIR Entertainment, USA
  • Most Innovative Game - Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP by Capy, Canada
