Windows 8 Consumer Preview Available for Download
Microsoft officially unveiled the consumer preview of its new desktop operating system.
Microsoft has allowed consumers to take a quick peek at their new OS. However, there are a few things required for installation. Your computer has to have:
- 1GHz processor
- 1GB (32-bit) or 2GB (64-bit) of RAM
- 16 GB (32-bit) or 20 GB (64-bit) available disk space
- DirectX 9 graphics with WDDM 1.0 or higher and 1024 x 768 minimum screen resolution
