Persona 2: Eternal Punishment Coming to PSP

Persona 2: Eternal Punishment Coming to PSP

Persona 2: Innocent Sin PSP released last year, giving English-speaking fans the chance to play the game for the first time. Now, Famitsu has revealed Atlus is working on releasing the second-half of the game, Eternal Punishment, also on PSP.

Like Innocent Sin PSP, Eternal Punishment will be updated for the PSP, with new scenarios (written by the original writer, Tadashi Satomi), a new opening animation from Madhouse, and improved load times. Shouji Meguro is directing the game, and has created rearranged music for the release; players can toggle between the original and new soundtrack.

The game has a May 17 release for Japan, and it’s likely we’ll hear about a North American release soon.

Are you excited about this news? How awesome would it be to have three Persona games released in one year: Arena, The Golden, and Innocent Sin, for three different systems?
