Unreal Engine 4 To Be Shown At GDC

Epic Games is showing off the next iteration of the Unreal Engine at the Game Developers Conference  in San Francisco. The event, which kicks off next week, will have Epic Games showcasing the new game engine behind closed doors, hinting at the idea that the public may not hear any news about it in the near future.

Epic states that it will preview the new technology to “select licensees, partners and prospective customers during the exhibition.” These select few would then be bound to non-disclosure agreements, ultimately preventing any leaked information.

On the next generation engine, President of Epic Games Mike Capps tweeted that internal demonstrations of its GDC demos “made people gasp, literally.”
