Red Dead franchise sells 13 million units worldwide

Thursday video game publisher Take-Two revealed that Rockstar’s popular Western Red Dead franchise has sold 13 million units worldwide. It was just this past September that the company reported sales of the franchise to be at 12.5 million units.

This sales report show that the titles are still seeing a healthy pace of sales since the success of 2010′s release of Red Dead Redemption. All the numbers include all versions of Red Dead Redemption, the stand-alone disc Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare, and the oft-forgotten PS2 and Xbox title Red Dead Revolver.

I would expect nothing less from a series with a GOTY winner in the pack.

Also, Red Dead Revolver is easily forgettable.
