Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition Announced

Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition Announced

Today Warner Bros. Interactive announced the release of the Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition will be coming out in the United States on February 28th for PlayStaion 3 and Xbox 360.  Europe will be receiving the game on March 2nd.  The new release will feature all of the available DLC characters including Skarlet, Kenshi, and Rain.  It will also feature the special cameo DLC character Freddy Kreuger.  Along with the DLC characters will be the 15 Klassic skins that were available at the launch of the game if you pre-ordered, depending on which outlet you selected.  In addition to the skins and characters, there will also be three Klassic fatalities included on the disc for Scorpion, Sub-Zero, and Reptile.

The game recently won Fighting Game of the Year at the Spike TV 2011 Video Game Awards.  This looks to be a good deal on all of the content if you haven’t picked up the game yet, and do not feel like paying extra for all of the DLC available for the game on both platforms.  Personally I would pick up the PS3 version of the game, because you also get Kratos, from the God of War Series as a playable character.
