Attouteki Yuugi: Mugen Souls Coming to Japanese PS3 March 2012

Attouteki Yuugi: Mugen Souls Coming to Japanese PS3 March 2012

Compile Heart, the Japanese company responsible for Hyperdimension: Neptunia, scorned by GameSpot for its “disturbingly sexualized caricatures of young girls,” is at it again with another erotic RPG set to come to the PS3 in March 2012. The game, Attouteki Yuugi: Mugen Souls (Overpowered Game: Infinite Souls), allows for comically high character stats, which in turn allows the player to deal up to a trillion points of damage in battle.  The game is produced by Keiji Shin Inafune (not to be confused with the former Capcom executive Keiji Inafune) and employs the iconic artwork of Takehito Harada of Disgaea fame.

The story follows a pink-haired girl name Shu Shu Infinite, who can magically change her personality and appearance. The majority of the game takes place in a world called “Nanayokai,” which Shu Shu has for some reason decided needs to be taken over. According to Dengeki, Nanayokai changes depending on the day of the week. Each day also has a special hero and demon character. The game will feature light erotic visuals, but will function mainly as an RPG.  There is no word if Attouteki Yuugi: Mugen Souls will be localized.
