Community Voice: The VGAs – Do You Agree?

Community Voice: The VGAs – Do You Agree?

The VGA Awards aired this past weekend, and while many in the community have a lot to say about the show itself, we’re more interested in what you think about the games that won in each category.  Do you agree? Do you disagree? Do you think any games got too much praise? Too little?

Personally, I was happy to see a lot of my picks earn the awards, such as Bastion winning best song and score, and Portal 2 taking home both voice awards (and a handful of others). Still, on some level, it’s always kind of sad to see only four or five games bring home all the awards–this year, those being Portal 2, Batman: Arkham City, Skryrim, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, and Uncharted 3. Those were all phenomenal games, don’t get me wrong–but with so many great games released this year, it’s kind of  a shame that more games didn’t get recognition.

What do you think? Would you like to have seen more games win awards, or were you happy with the results? Let us know what you think in the comments.
