Amazon Sold Out of Skyward Sword Bundle

Amazon Sold Out of Skyward Sword Bundle

Have your eye on that shiny gold Wiimote Plus included with the limited edition bundle of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword? Were you saving up your pennies before you placed your pre-order for the $69.99 bundle? You might want to jump on that pretty quickly, then, if you haven’t already placed a pre-order, because it looks like stores have already sold out of their designated number of pre-order copies. Amazon is completely sold out, and I spoke to a representative who stated they don’t expect to receive any more copies (although, of course, it’s always a possibility they get more).

Other retailers still list the bundle as available for pre-order, including Gamestop and Best Buy, but many fill limited-edition pre-orders on a first-come, first-serve basis, so you may not want to wait any longer if you’ve been procrastinating on this deal to make sure you get one. Of course, you can always take you chances and wait until the game releases November 20, and hope you can grab a copy at one of your local retailers, or buy from scalpers on Ebay (one seller is selling their pre-order copy of the Skyward Sword bundle for $200 on Amazon).

Interestingly, Amazon is sold out of a lot of Nintendo products, including all three colors of 3DS, nearly all Wii bundles, and all but a couple of DS models as well, so if you were hoping to do some early Christmas shopping, you might have to wait until they restock.
