Xbox Live Marketplace Update: July 13, 2011

An undead themed deal-of-the-week shambles onto the marketplace as does three new arcade titles.  Gamers can also download new content for LA Noire as well as the demo to Atlus’ upcoming Catherine.

Deal Of The Week (Gold Members)

July 12 – July 18

  • Red Dead Redemption Undead Nightmare Pack (1000 pts) – These add-ons to Rockstar’s western include the Undead Nightmare Pack, Liars and Cheats Pack, and Legends and Killers Pack.  An entirely new single-player campaign seeing Marston attempt to find a cure for the undead plague, more multiplayer modes including poker and horse racing, and additional multiplayer weapons and maps are included for one low price.
  • Dead Rising 2: Case West (400 pts) – Chuck Greene has lost the evidence that would clear his name but thankfully Frank West is here to help save the day.  Two players can play cooperatively in this standalone arcade title as well as take pictures like in the first game.
  • Left 4 Dead 2: The Passing (280 pts) – The original Left 4 Dead survivors meet up down south with the L4D2 cast.  Includes a new campaign playable in all modes.  Download more content for one of the best co-op shooters around.
  • Stubbs The Zombie in Rebel Without A Pulse (800 pts) – From the creators of Halo: Combat Evolved comes the loveable zombie Stubbs.  This original xbox title supports local multiplayer.
  • Twin Blades (200 pts) – Help a nun defeat evil in some zombie-killing action across multiple environments.  This single-player side scroller is stylish, action-oriented and above all an indie game! This is quite possibly the first indie title to be featured in a Deal Of The Week so that alone makes it worth checking out.
