EA and Criterion Games Announces Burnout CRASH!

It appears that Criterion is going back to a mode in the Burnout series with a downloadable title for both the PSN and XBLA. EA and Criterion announced today that they are reinventing the fan favorite Crash mode into a stand-alone installment in the popular series.

The screenshots we’ve seen should that Burnout CRASH! will have a top-down view, three different modes, a crashwall that shares your scores with friends, and a feature utilizing the Autolog technology called Autolog Challenges. Autolog Challenges will allow gamers to send a challenge to a friend in order to start a turn-based head-to-head battle to have the highest score.

It’s good to see this mode getting its own installment. Burnout CRASH! will also be EA’s first Xbox Live Arcade downloadable title to be compatible with the Kinect.
