Sony Offers 6 Month Free Trial of Music Unlimited

Sony Offers 6 Month Free Trial of Music Unlimited

Like music? Of course you do. Like free stuff? That copy of InFamous on your hard drive would agree. Well it looks like Sony has a deal for you free loving music enthusiasts. In order to entice customers to their Music Unlimited service, the Playstation Blog reports that Sony will be offering a chunky 180 day free trial of the Basic subscription to Music Unlimited.

The Basic subscription includes cloud-based streaming of over seven million songs, all commercial free. Think of it like MTV on the go without all the sweaty Italians and knocked up teenagers.

You can take advantage of this deal if:

  • You are 18 or over
  • You own a Playstation 3 system
  • You do not currently hold or have not previously held a Music Unlimited subscription to the premium or basic plan
  • You are in a supported country/region (US)
  • Note: you will not be able to take advantage of the 180-day Subscription Free Trial on PS3 if you purchase other subscriptions.

If you do decide to take advatange of this 180 day trial offer you might want to make sure that this isn’t one of those offers were you have to cancel prior to the end of it to avoid a charge to your credit card. Overall I find this to be another great way for Sony to remind people of all of the great services Playstation Network has to offer.
