A New Direction For Brothers in Arms

A New Direction For Brothers in Arms

Fans of the series Brothers in Arms may be saddened by the E3 debut trailer for the upcoming Brothers in Arms, called Furious Four.  The one minute, 20 second trailer would lead almost anyone who has played previous Brothers in Arms titles to believe that Gearbox Software has abandoned the squad-based tactical shooter and is revamping the series to emulate a Quentin Tarantino film.

The trailer also indicates that they are abandoning the classic, character-based story telling that Brothers in Arms was known for, and replacing it with everything you saw in the movie Inglourious Basterds.

Perhaps the only remaining element from the previous games is the setting, World War II.

The game is expected to release at some point in 2012 for the PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
