Trials HD Reaches Two Million Unit Sales

RedLynx is proud to announce that the Xbox LIVE Arcade title, Trials HD, has hit a rather big milestone. The main title and its DLC have surpassed the two million units sales in the year and a half that it has been available for download on the Arcade.

CEO of RedLynx, Tero Virtala, remarked about how significant of a milestone this is, not just for Trails HD but also for digitally downloadable games. He also wanted to thank the fans for all their support and enthusiasm for the title.

While there have been questions in regards to what the future holds for the Trails series and the fact that this achievement will likely have them being asked again, RedLynx has remained quite mum on the subject. Antti Ilvessuo, Creative Director of RedLynx, did comment on other titles being worked on.

“Naturally we are quite pleased with the success of Trials HD, but the most important thing for us is to continue making excellent games that other gamers will like. Whatever the future holds remains to be seen, but currently we have six teams working on six games, so I can guarantee there are other great RedLynx games in the works.

“Other than that, I must remain silent. It is the Finnish way. That, and sitting in a stiflingly hot sauna during midsummer without saying a word. That is the Finnish way.”
