Dragon Age III Revealed Via Twitter

Dragon Age III Revealed Via Twitter

This news probably won’t come as a surprise, but Dragon Age III is apparently in the works.  BioWare’s senior director of creative development, Alistair McNally revealed in a tweet that they are looking for people to work on the third game in the franchise.

He wrote:

“I’m looking for exceptional environment artists to join me at #BioWare Edmonton, Canada to work on #DragonAge3 #gamejobs #jobs #3D #artists.”

Even though Dragon Age II wasn’t as well received by critics as the first game, it has still sold well, and it was in the works even before Origins was released.  It is likely that Dragon Age III was underway even before II hit store shelves.

Although I don’t hold out much hope for this third game being better than the second, as a huge fan of the franchise (especially Origins), I’m hopefully we’ll see a tighter story and less of a rushed, dumbed-down experience in this next sequel.
